Shipping policy

ALL DELIVERIES ARE MADE VIA TAIL-LIFT VEHICLES - WE DO NOT USE CRANES OR HI-ABS

** DELIVERY TIMES AND ETA’S**

All orders are processed and then dispatched the following working day from your order day.

Standard Delivery is a 2-3-day service from dispatch day.

Premium Delivery is a 1-2-day service from dispatch day.

All services are an 8-00am to 6-00pm delivery window.

The following check list is provided to ensure that your delivery is achieved safely and on time.

  • Have I given the correct Address, Postcode and Contact telephone number.
  • Have I ensured the route to the property has suitable access for an 18-tonne tail-lift vehicle.
  • Are there any obstacles such as low hanging trees that may interfere with the high sides of the vehicle?
  • Is the delivery address for the goods on a Solid Flat Level surface, i.e. Concrete, tarmac or Block paving? Pallet trucks cannot operate on grass, mud, gravel, loose ground, up or down inclines or steps.
  • Have I ensured that I or an individual will be available to sign for the goods? (If a signature is unavailable there must be a safe place to leave the goods, if not the goods may be returned for delivery later.  Further charges per pallet may be incurred if this happens.

If you do have delivery restrictions simply contact us on 0330 088 5593 and we will make special arrangements to try and accommodate them.

The Sandbag Co will not accept any liability for damages to property caused during delivery whereby the customer has instructed drivers or have made requests for goods to be placed anywhere other than on the kerbside.

The delivery vehicles must be able to park in an area where the delivery is to be made; they cannot park in any red zones or on restricted parking.

It is at the driver’s discretion to deem the delivery unsuitable he is well within his rights to refuse to unload the pallet or alternatively unload it as near as possible to the required destination, which may well be at the side of the road. If a kerb side delivery has been made it is the customer’s responsibility to move the product from the place of delivery to the area of requirement.

Where a delivery cannot be made on the due date due to access issues, we will attempt a re-delivery at your request for a minimum charge of £75 per pallet plus VAT.

The Sandbag Co aim to deliver all goods within 72 hours of receipt of your order. The Sandbag Co cannot be accountable for late deliveries because of factors outside of our control, such as increased traffic delays, weather, and breakdowns.  Deliveries are made between 8.00 am and 6-00 pm.
